Intro Module: Understanding Sacred Time in WetonLessons
Before we begin decoding your SoulCode through your Weton, it’s essential to understand something deeper than numbers — the very rhythm of time itself.

Western Time vs. Eastern Time Wisdom
Most of us today live by the Gregorian calendar, which splits a day into 12:00 AM (midnight) to 11:59 PM (noon to night) — a mechanical and linear structure.
But in the ancient wisdom of the Nusantara archipelago, time flows differently.
The Balinese Calendar: Time Starts with the Sun
In the Balinese and ancient Javanese calendar, a full day is not counted from midnight — but from 06:00 AM to 06:00 AM the next day. This system aligns with Trikala, the sacred 3-fold division of daily time:
- Pagi–Siang (Morning to Afternoon): 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
- Sore–Petang (Afternoon to Evening): 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Malam–Subuh (Night to Early Morning): 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
This solar-based timing reflects the rhythm of nature — honoring the cycle of the sun, and synchronizing with the breath of the universe. It’s not arbitrary; it’s cosmically alive.
What About the Javanese Calendar?
While Bali has preserved this ancient time system, the modern Javanese calendar, especially post-Mataram Islam era, was restructured. A day was redefined as 06:00 PM to 06:00 PM, in accordance with Hijri/Islamic influence, where days begin after sunset.
Thus, while Java evolved through political-religious shifts, Bali maintained the original Nusantara rhythm — keeping the Weton calendar unaltered, intact, and resonant with its indigenous spiritual DNA.
Why This Matters for Your Weton
Your Weton isn’t just a date — it’s the pulse of your soul’s entrance into this life.
Using the correct time system ensures the accurate reading of:
- Your SoulBirth (Weton and Wuku)
- Internal Karma (from 7-day + 5-day market cycles)
- External Karma (reflected through Wuku, 30-week cosmic cycles)
- And your full SoulCode Blueprint
This is why in WetonLessons, we begin with reconnecting time to its sacred flow. Because true spiritual understanding must align with the rhythm that birthed you.
How to Begin
- Determine your time of birth, and match it with the Trikala periods.
- Use the Peradnya Dinata app (available on Google Play or Apple Store) to find your Balinese calendar date.
- Or submit your birth details to us (name, date, time or time range) and we’ll help identify your Weton.
By entering WetonLessons, you are not only learning ancient numerology — you are stepping into the clock of the cosmos that your soul chose to be born into.
